Overview

The Sales Engineer is responsible for meeting or exceeding the annual sales targets of Lenze solutions in their respective geographic territory, focusing on growing sales through the channel and assigned direct OEMs.

In Short

  • Prospect and develop new customers who fit Lenze solutions.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time with occasional overnight stays.
  • Maintain understanding of OEM business and project strategy.
  • Participate in strategic meetings with customers and internal teams.
  • Describe, demonstrate, and configure machine automation systems.
  • Communicate within the Business Development and Regional Sales Team.
  • Input information into CRM per company policy.
  • Develop project plans for successful implementation of solutions.
  • Drive progress across departments to meet timelines.
  • Utilize Winning Complex Sales strategies for management.

Requirements

  • 5 years experience in Industrial Manufacturing and Distribution.
  • Advanced skills in area of specialization.
  • Success in building strong relationships.
  • Capabilities in managing complex commercial situations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP or CRM tools.
