Overview

The Sales Specialist – Histology Instruments is responsible for developing and executing successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in territory.

In Short

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for Leica Biosystems.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Applications teams.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC.
  • Achieve high customer satisfaction through sales and support assistance.
  • Coordinate product demos, installations, and customer training.
  • Monitor competitive activities and strategies.
  • Utilize Strategic Selling tools with mentorship.
  • Achieve annual product sales goals for the territory.
  • Work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Participate in a remote work arrangement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Proven time management skills.
  • High-level selling experience in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Driver’s license and ability to travel 50-75%.
  • Prior capital sales experience is a plus.
