Overview

The Field Service Engineer for Leica Biosystems is responsible for providing technical service and support in the field on equipment, ensuring adherence to ISO, FDA, and budgetary guidelines to minimize customer downtime and generate revenue opportunities.

In Short

  • Provide first-class technical support for key UKI customers.
  • On-site installation of various Histopathology and ancillary equipment.
  • Work closely with the Field Support Team for professional After Sales Service.
  • Deliver accurate reporting and timely submission of Salesforce reports.
  • Support sales team with basic training, installations, and demonstrations.
  • Identify required spare parts or reagents and perform related activities.
  • Co-ordinate service repairs and escalate issues as needed.
  • Exhibit a “Best Team Wins” mentality.
  • Educated in Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical subjects.
  • Proven background in Robotic, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience in a service role or related industry preferred.
  • Experience in a laboratory environment is a plus.
  • Ability to carry and move up to 25kg safely.
  • Proven ability to learn in technical areas with limited previous experience.
