Overview

The EMEA Service Director at Leica Microsystems is responsible for managing all field operations related to service, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving profitable growth in service revenue.

• Lead and manage LMS Field Operations related to service.
• Oversee a team of 120 staff including Field Service Managers and Engineers.

• Fluent in English and willing to travel up to 40% within EMEA.
• Experience in managing customer-facing organizations preferred.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a global organization.
• Proven experience in managing customer relationships.
• Experience in field service organization management preferred.
• Strong skills in coaching, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across functions.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Ability to drive to the root cause of issues for continuous improvement.
• Experience with Danaher Business Systems Tools is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
