Overview

The Flex Benefits Plan Build Specialist will oversee the planning and execution of the flexible benefits plan configuration and maintenance. This includes liaising with clients, coordinating internally, system configuration, developing solutions, data analysis and reporting.

In Short

  • Liaise with sales team to understand sold products; configure and implement plans within benefits administration system
  • Coordinate with various internal departments and external functions to support timely and thorough implementation and ongoing client retention
  • Gather and analyze data, identify opportunities for process improvement, and recommend solutions for optimal service delivery
  • Manage and configure the benefits system including training users and handling client onboarding
  • Ensure high client satisfaction by managing client issues and communicating resolutions
  • Administer banking arrangements for client funding and ensure accurate posting of transactions
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Research plan provisions and ensure plan language conforms to group intent
  • Assist in developing test plans and coordinating system test cases
  • Provide timely documentation to users for system and plan changes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of reimbursement account benefits configuration and administration experience
  • Knowledge of benefits administration and related legislation
  • Advanced knowledge of database applications such as Excel and Access
  • Solid working knowledge of standard computer applications
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve established outcomes
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work
