Overview

The Employee Labor Relations Program Manager provides consultation, analysis, interpretation, and training on labor agreements and related processes, working collaboratively with clients and union representatives.

In Short

  • Conducts complex analyses across Labor Relations programs.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities.
  • Leads collaborative problem-solving and counseling on labor relations issues.
  • Manages labor relations administration and project initiatives.
  • Builds relationships with employee representatives and supports union negotiations.
  • Ensures compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Prepares reports and executive summaries.
  • Assists with data extraction for annual audits.
  • Provides guidance on contract interpretation.
  • Implements strategic ELR projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's or J.D. preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in workforce and labor relations.
  • 8+ years managing projects or programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a confidential environment.
  • Knowledge of labor relations practices and regulations.
  • Experience with collective bargaining processes.
  • Experience in healthcare or higher education preferred.
