Overview

We are seeking an experienced Remote Maintenance Coordinator with 3+ years of coordination experience to join our team. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and is quick to pick up the phone to resolve issues with vendors, internal technicians, or residents. Success in this role means balancing speed, cost, and quality while upholding our KPIs for resident satisfaction, repair timeliness, and cost control.

In Short

  • Triage & Troubleshoot: Accurately diagnose incoming maintenance requests, collect critical details, and assign to the correct vendor, technician, or team member.
  • Vendor & Appointment Management: Schedule service promptly, monitor progress, and follow up to ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communication Excellence: Serve as the primary point of contact for Residents, vendors, and technicians, maintaining professional and proactive communication throughout the repair process.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, service notes, and vendor documentation in our property management system.
  • Performance Alignment: Monitor progress toward KPIs, including speed of repair, resident satisfaction, and cost as a percentage of rent, while collaborating with leadership to refine best practices.
  • Quality Control: Verify resolution of work orders and ensure service quality meets the company standards before closing requests.
  • Administrative Support: Handle inbound calls, emails, and administrative tasks tied to maintenance coordination in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven coordination or operations experience, preferably in property management, maintenance, or related fields.
  • Technology: Strong proficiency with Google Workspace and property management software (Property Meld experience preferred).
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; confident in making quick, decisive phone calls to resolve issues.
  • Professional Traits: Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and motivated by solving problems quickly and effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Benefits

  • Salary is 24,000 - 26,000 USD per year.
  • Location: Remote from anywhere in Latin America.
  • Schedule: 8 am to 5pm CST.
