Deployment and Cloud Operations Director - Remote

Lambda is on a mission to be the world's top AI computing platform, providing tools for engineers to deploy AI solutions efficiently. We are looking for a Deployment and Cloud Operations Director to lead our cloud service operations.

In Short

• Lead a global cloud deployment and operations team.
• Ensure high reliability and cost-effectiveness of cloud services.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis.
• Manage communication across different locations and time zones.
• Interview, mentor, and coach team members.
• Identify key metrics for operational excellence.
• Develop new functions to enhance effectiveness.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes.
• Manage dependencies and resolve execution issues.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence within the team.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in technical infrastructure.
• 5+ years managing large scale infrastructures.
• Experience with service management processes.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability.
• Familiarity with cloud security and compliance.
• Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to change.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
• Strong analytical skills for resource allocation.
• Experience in AI or machine learning industry is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields is preferred.
