Full Stack Developer - Remote

Lago is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Stack Developer with demonstrated expertise in both WordPress and Shopify platforms. This position requires a deep understanding of front-end and back-end development practices, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to deliver high-performance, scalable digital solutions in a fast-paced environment.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain custom websites and e-commerce solutions using WordPress and Shopify.
• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.).
• Customize and extend functionality through theme development, plugin customization (WordPress), and app integration (Shopify).
• Develop server-side logic and APIs to support dynamic functionality and data management.
• Ensure website and application performance, security, and SEO best practices.
• Conduct regular code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and operations.
• Stay informed on evolving technologies and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, PHP, MySQL).
• Proven experience with Shopify and Shopify Liquid templating.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, AJAX, and cross-platform integrations.
• Experience with page speed optimization tools and strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote team environment.
