Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

The KPA Common Services team builds, governs, and maintains services shared across the KPA enterprise, leveraging technology to build secure, maintainable, and scalable internal services for KPA applications. The platform combines features that are tailored to the needs of our client’s business, including audits and inspections, incident management, flexible training, and reporting and insights.

In Short

• Deliver modern, web and API based software shared across multiple KPA applications.
• Write and maintain high-quality code for KPA applications.
• Participate in planning, tasking, execution, and delivery within an agile development environment.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership on technical tasks.
• Contribute to the analysis, solution designs, and implementations of new system components.
• Mentor other engineers and engage with senior personnel.
• Ensure compliance with secure coding practices.
• Actively participate in process improvements.
• Lead feature development for complex components.
• Demonstrate functional knowledge of KPA Common Services.

Requirements

• Experience with NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Dot Net Core API.
• Familiarity with Git and Azure Dev Ops.
• Proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with modern web technologies like Vue and React.
• Understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bonus: Understanding of native iOS and Android development.
• Experience with micro UI and micro API.

Benefits

• Base salary range between $140-150k.
• Annual bonus opportunity of 10%.
