Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Software Engineer role uses an analytical, engineering-focused approach and expert knowledge of programming languages to develop computer programs and ensure software is as functional and robust as the business needs.

In Short

• The development of software programs or systems that align with the company’s needs.
• Analyze the needs of the user. Design, test and develop the software to meet those needs.
• Lead a team of developers to accomplish set goals and meet specific timelines.
• Use analysis and critical thinking skills to determine and assess the needs of the business.
• Provide clear instructions to the project team and answer any questions.
• Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs.
• Create diagrams, flowcharts, and models for the software.
• Ensure continued functionality of a program during maintenance and testing.
• Document each aspect of a system or application for future reference.
• Teach and train other developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Tekla Structures API utilizing C#.NET or CAD expertise.
• 7+ years of experience working in software development.
• Technical experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, WPF, MVVM, WCF, WebAPIs, and SQL databases.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
