Overview

We are looking for an experienced sales professional to sell Kong to enterprise customers, focusing on developing a robust pipeline and managing accounts effectively.

In Short

  • Primarily a hunting role to sell Kong to enterprise customers.
  • Develop and execute a pipeline generation strategy.
  • Meet individual quotas and objectives.
  • Responsible for territory account planning and forecasting.
  • Take ownership of your book of business.
  • Provide account leadership in the pre-and post-sales process.
  • Represent Kong professionally and support customers.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites (30% - 50%).

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience selling enterprise software.
  • Experience with open source, APIs, and/or infrastructure software is a plus.
  • Ability to leverage established relationships for sales success.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
