In Short

• Underwrite multiple mortgage loan products in compliance with company guidelines.
• Review loan files for completeness and identify missing documentation.
• Collaborate with loan analysts and sales to complete credit analysis.
• Ensure accurate data entry into the loan origination system.
• Manage loan file details prior to submission to closing manager.
• Work with loan analysts and closers for smooth file hand-off.
• Prioritize deal flow to ensure timely loan closures.
• Identify and report suspected fraudulent activities.
• Stay updated on company policies and regulatory changes.
• Proficient in pipeline management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in residential mortgage lending.
• Knowledge of lending regulations and credit analysis practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate PC proficiency.
• Comfort with new technology systems.
• Team-oriented with good customer service skills.
