Kafene is a leading point-of-sale financing partner dedicated to empowering flexible ownership solutions for underserved customers nationwide. We are seeking a controller to oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring compliance and preparing accurate financial statements.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulations.
• Lead financial report preparation for management.
• Monitor financial performance against the budget.
• Develop and maintain internal controls.
• Coordinate external audits and compliance.
• Analyze financial data for trends and insights.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity levels.
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
