Overview

As Controller at Pareto, you’ll be the financial backbone of our fast-growing organization, ensuring the integrity of our financials and supporting strategic decision-making.

In Short

• Lead and manage all aspects of accounting operations.
• Own and optimize the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare internal and external financial statements following GAAP.
• Develop internal controls and improve accounting policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Manage annual audits and relationships with external auditors.
• Help implement and maintain financial systems and software.
• Provide financial insights that inform strategy.
• Collaborate with leadership across the company.
• Be proactive in driving improvement within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in high-growth startups or tech companies preferred.
• Proven ability to manage audits and implement accounting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High integrity, judgment, and professionalism.
