Overview

The Controller will be critical in scaling the company’s financial operations, managing core financial reporting, controls, and compliance while optimizing cash flow and providing data-driven insights.

In Short

• Responsible for timely and accurate monthly financial statement preparation based on US GAAP.
• Oversee technical and transactional areas of accounting.
• Manage Sales and Use Tax compliance and corporate tax filings.
• Drive the annual financial statement audit process.
• Lead payroll and benefits administration.
• Implement key internal controls.
• Maintain best practices for close processes and documentation.
• Manage accounting technical stack including QuickBooks Online and others.
• Provide financial analysis and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Participate in M&A activities as needed.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks Online.
• Ability to optimize financial processes and cash flow.
• Experience in payroll and benefits administration.
• Strong analytical skills for financial analysis.
• Ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Experience with compliance and audit processes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in M&A activities is a plus.
