Overview

We are looking for a Head of Logistics to oversee and manage logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance in a modern company.

• Strategic and operational responsibility for logistics (warehousing, transport, distribution)
• Leading, motivating, and developing logistics staff
• Optimizing processes for efficiency, cost, quality, and sustainability
• Budget planning and control in logistics
• Managing external logistics service providers and contract negotiations
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, quality, and safety standards
• Developing and implementing digitalization and automation projects
• Collaboration with production, purchasing, sales, and other interfaces
• Creating and analyzing relevant KPIs and reporting to management

Requirements

• Completed degree in logistics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in logistics management, ideally in a leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of warehousing, transport, distribution logistics, and supply chain management
• Experience in optimizing and digitalizing logistics processes
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills with entrepreneurial thinking
• Negotiation skills with service providers and suppliers
• Analytical and structured way of working combined with a hands-on mentality
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
