Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head of Logistics and Procurement (m/f/d) for one of our portfolio companies. You will help implement the company's vision and drive growth in logistics and procurement.

In Short

  • Lead and manage the logistics and procurement teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the value chain.
  • Continuously improve service quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Negotiate purchasing conditions and contract terms with clients and partners.
  • Act as the central contact for logistical and contractual issues.
  • Define IT requirements for the development of shop functionalities.
  • Create and enhance reporting to monitor departmental performance.
  • Lead various optimization projects, including organization of picking and packaging.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in business administration, logistics, procurement, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience in a leadership position in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Solid knowledge in negotiation with suppliers and service providers.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and develop the team.
  • Proficient in modern IT systems and ERP solutions.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
