Financial Controller - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Financial Controller who’s excited to build smart systems, bring clarity to the numbers, and help us scale with confidence.

In Short

• Lead the diagnostics and improvement of financial controls and workflows across all entities.
• Design and implement a fast monthly close process for the main operating company.
• Oversee consolidated financial reporting and build dashboards for P&L, cash flow, and KPIs.
• Build and maintain a 13-week cash flow forecast and manage weekly cash sweeps.
• Set up a dual-authorization payment approval matrix.
• Ensure compliance across all legal entities.
• Manage and coordinate outsourced bookkeeping providers.
• Define a capital allocation policy and create ROI models for decision-making.
• Support the recruitment and onboarding of a Finance Lead.
• Provide ongoing strategic finance input during the ramp-down phase and beyond.

Requirements

• Experience in financial management and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
