As a Junior Software Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining software tools that support advanced satellite communications and defense operations. Working in a collaborative and mission-driven environment, you will contribute to both front-end and back-end development using languages like PHP, Java, and SQL, as well as Microsoft development tools such as Visual Studio and Visual Basic. In Short

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software tools and web applications that support satellite communications systems.
• Collaborate with technical experts to design, test, and deploy solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Work with the C-SSE team to ensure configuration management and version control across all developed tools.
• Coordinate with the Configuration Change Board (CCB) for development and deployment approvals.
• Conduct data analysis, research, and reporting to support technical and project objectives.
• Participate in problem-solving sessions to identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions.
• Develop, test, and fine-tune cyber tools and technologies to enhance system security and performance.

Requirements

• Experience in software development using PHP, Java, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Microsoft development tools such as Visual Studio and Visual Basic.
• Understanding of satellite communications and defense operations.
