Software Developer - Remote

Overview

Sherpa 6 is seeking a talented .NET Software Developer to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of our systems and data. We build mission critical systems for the Department of Defense (DoD) and other commercial customers.

In Short

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot .NET C# issues assigned via our task tracker.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Sprint Reviews.
• Act as a subject matter expert for .NET Framework Development in system architecture and design discussions.
• Code and test software based upon software specifications and designs.
• Analyze and study complex system requirements.
• Use sound software engineering principles to ensure that developed code is maintainable, efficient, reliable, understandable, and fault tolerant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in Windows Development.
• Proficiency with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
• Proficiency in C#.
• Solid understanding of how to integrate with RESTful APIs using JSON.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Must be a US citizen.
