In Short

• Join a growing team as a Software Developer at BDR.
• Primarily remote position with travel as requested.
• Design, build, test, and sustain software capabilities for the Theater Blood application.
• Hands-on full-stack development using Agile and DevSecOps practices.
• Implement new features, enhancements, and fixes for the application.
• Develop modular, containerized code supporting microservices and cloud deployment.
• Write automated tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with system architects, testers, and cybersecurity engineers.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications.
• Must be eligible for Secret Security Clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java).
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with microservices, APIs, and containerization.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps workflows.
• Understanding of secure coding and automated testing.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain secret security clearance required.
