Overview

A talented Backend Engineer is needed to join a healthcare-focused data platform team, building scalable and high-performing services for clinical and financial data integrations.

In Short

• Design and implement scalable ingestion pipelines for FHIR-based clinical and administrative data.
• Architect distributed backend systems using Java, Spark, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Develop APIs and services to validate, transform, and enrich healthcare data.
• Ensure privacy, security (HIPAA), and full data lineage throughout the integration stack.
• Optimize batch and real-time data flows for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and architecture teams to deliver critical platform features.
• Stay current with FHIR (R4, R5), US Core, and TEFCA standards.

Requirements

• Proficient in Java and familiar with FHIR standards.
• Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS.
