Electrical Day Engineer, Data Centre Operations - Remote

Overview

The Electrical Day Engineer will be responsible for the effective inspection, operation, and maintenance of all associated MEP assets within a critical facility, focusing on electrical systems and risk management.

• Extensive understanding of Critical Facilities/Data Centre infrastructure.
• Lead Planned, Corrective, and Reactive Maintenance tasks.
• Issue PTW and ensure compliance with method statements.
• Report on completed work orders and manage critical spares.
• Participate in Health and Safety compliance activities.
• Provide backup as engineering shift relief cover.
• Communicate effectively with team members and vendors.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and escalate potential risks.
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Critical Environments.
• Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or similar.
• HVAC Engineering Experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong IT and report writing skills.
• Willingness to attend training for MEP assets.
• High level of initiative and drive for continuous improvement.
• Integrity, honesty, and punctuality.
• Ability to comprehend and act upon instructions.
