Data Engineer - Data Operations - Remote

Overview

The Data Engineer will be part of Huron's Data Operations team, focusing on developing and enhancing data-driven web applications for healthcare analytics.

In Short

• Design and build data pipelines for healthcare analytics.
• Develop features and improvements for data-driven applications.
• Collaborate with product leadership and engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and issues.
• Maintain documentation of system designs and processes.
• Provide training to internal stakeholders.
• Work with cloud technologies, primarily AWS.
• Participate in project planning and capability roadmaps.
• Ensure code quality through testing before deployment.
• Recommend enhancements for platform performance.

Requirements

• U.S. work authorization required.
• B.S. degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of software development experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in Python and SQL.
• 3-5 years of experience with AWS services.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-discipline team.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and analytics-driven applications is preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (EDI/FHIR) is a plus.
