Overview

The Boeing Global Services is seeking a P-8 Senior Operations Manager to lead the 2nd shift Operations Team for the modification of the P-8A at the new MRO facility in Jacksonville, FL.

• Lead the modification operations for the P-8A Poseidon aircraft.
• Manage and develop the 2nd shift Operations Team.
• Oversee technical management of suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and established processes.
• Develop departmental strategies and execute plans.
• Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches and processes.
• Foster relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Responsible for employee development and motivation.
• Implement continuous process improvement strategies.
• Position requires U.S. Citizenship for security clearance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in operations and/or manufacturing.
• 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience with P-8A or B737 aircraft preferred.
• Experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul organizations preferred.
• Knowledge of continuous process improvement and lean processes.
• FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification is a plus.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift, including weekends and overtime.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
