Part 21 Design & Certification Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Part 21 Design & Certification Engineer will develop, integrate, and document interior payload system requirements for large aircraft modifications while ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

In Short

• Work with global engineering teams across multiple time zones.
• Develop engineering design solutions using CAD for aircraft cabin systems.
• Produce substantiation documents for regulatory compliance.
• Attend meetings and represent Boeing on aircraft surveys.
• Support bids for new customer requests.
• Manage various design projects from simple changes to complex STCs.

Requirements

• BEng Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Experience in aircraft interiors mechanical/structural design.
• Knowledge of EASA regulatory requirements.
• Experience with CATIA V5 and/or AutoCAD.
• Understanding of aircraft material and fastener selection.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and adapt to changing demands.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work on multiple programs concurrently.
• Professional integrity and commitment to quality.
• Current or recent employment in the aerospace industry.
