Country Manager - Remote

Overview

Jeff is a financial technology startup focused on unlocking financial services for the underbanked in emerging markets. We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Country Manager to lead our market growth in Mexico.

In Short

• Lead the company’s expansion in Mexico.
• Build and manage relationships with banks, insurance providers, investment firms, and other key partners.
• Identify market opportunities and initiate strategic partnerships.
• Drive local revenue growth and ensure alignment with global KPIs.
• Adapt product positioning and marketing strategies to local context.
• Represent the brand in the country and participate in relevant events.
• Work closely with HQ in areas like product, marketing, legal, and operations.
• Local presence with reporting directly to Business Owner based in Latvia.

Requirements

• 5+ years in sales, business development, or partnerships in the financial industry.
• Strong understanding of digital banking and financial services landscape.
• Track record of closing high-value partnerships and scaling financial products.
• Experience launching or scaling businesses in emerging markets is a plus.
• Existing network in the local financial industry is required.
• Basic understanding of local regulatory and compliance aspects.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
