Medical Scheduling Coordinator / Agent - Remote

Overview

ISTA Personnel Solutions is in search of a highly organized and detail-orientated Medical Scheduling Coordinator / Agent to join their team in South Africa, working remotely. In this role, you will be part of a call centre and responsible for coordinating medical appointments, managing schedules, and ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and home care teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical scheduling.

In Short

• Schedule and manage appointments for patients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient appointments.
• Collaborate with home care teams to meet patient needs.
• Address scheduling conflicts or issues as they arise.
• Input and update patient information in the scheduling system.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws.
• Work EST hours (from 15h00pm - midnight SA time).
• Must have a fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps.
• Must have a power backup solution for outages.
