Overview

The Technical Support Engineer provides front line phone support for customers, field engineers, and sales professionals, resolving Tier 1 customer issues and improving team efficiency.

In Short

  • Front line technical support via phone for customers and field personnel.
  • Document and analyze customer issues within CRM.
  • Provide troubleshooting for complex robotic problems.
  • Review service requests and dispatch field service orders.
  • Publish articles in the da Vinci Knowledge Base.
  • Onsite support for escalated technical issues.
  • Mentor new Technical Support Engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
  • Flexible work schedule including holidays and on-call duties.
  • Act as a Medical Device Consultant in Austria and Germany.

Requirements

  • Degree in electronics or mechanical engineering or 2 years related experience.
  • 2 years experience in Technical Support, preferably in medical devices.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with operating room protocols and endoscopic equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Minimal travel required.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, other languages are a plus.
