Clinical Counselor (Remote)

Overview

The Clinical Counselor will provide counseling services to military personnel and their families, focusing on critical incidents and adjustment disorders.

In Short

• Provide group workshops and individual consultations.
• Target outreach for at-risk groups.
• Conduct training and workshops for Command Family Readiness Groups.
• Provide solution-focused counseling services.
• Ensure referrals for behavioral health follow-ups.
• Coordinate services for at-risk children.
• Document and maintain records of counseling services.
• Participate in quality assurance procedures.
• Engage in emergency response exercises.
• Execute responsibilities related to emergency preparedness.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, or psychology.
• Current clinical license for independent practice.
• Two years of full-time post-master’s supervised clinical experience.
• Strong communication and advocacy skills.
• Knowledge of child abuse and domestic abuse issues.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
