MRI Technician - Travel PRN Opportunity - Remote

Overview

The MRI Technician will support the John Hopkins research team by providing MRI scanning services worldwide, ensuring compliance with protocols and assisting local technicians.

In Short

• Travels internationally within 72 hours of notification.
• Conduct MRI scans according to established protocols.
• Observes local technicians performing procedures.
• Responsible for downloading and safeguarding images.
• Maintains supplies and equipment during travel.
• Submits travel vouchers post-return.

• Experience in remote settings is preferred.
• Must have a valid passport.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited MRI tech program.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiological Technicians.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an MRI technician.
• Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and Cannon MRI systems.
• Current BLS certification required.
