SDE II - Backend (Core Platform) - Remote

Overview

We are hiring for a Backend Engineer to join our Core Platform team. This team is responsible for designing and scaling the foundational systems that power all our AI-driven products—from secure authentication and configuration engines to core services like logging, feature management, and real-time orchestration.

In Short

• Design and implement backend services that power cross-cutting features like knowledge, content, configuration, identity, access control, and audit.
• Write performant, secure, and testable code using js, Go, or Python.
• Build and maintain APIs, service orchestration layers, and shared infrastructure modules.
• Collaborate with platform, ML, and product teams to ensure backend systems are flexible, resilient, and developer-friendly.
• Contribute to service monitoring, alerting, and production readiness practices across core systems.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, sprint planning, and internal platform adoption initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of backend engineering experience, ideally in platform or service-oriented roles.
• Proficiency in at least two modern backend programming languages (Node.js, Go, Python, Java).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.), and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of service architecture, data modeling, and system design fundamentals.
• Solid grasp of debugging, testing, and monitoring backend applications in production.
