Overview

As a Backend Engineer in the Core Platform team at interface.ai, you will design and scale foundational systems that power AI-driven products for banks and credit unions.

Design and implement backend services for cross-cutting features.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
1–3 years of backend engineering experience.
Proficiency in at least two backend programming languages.
Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud infrastructure.
Understanding of service architecture and system design.
Solid grasp of debugging and monitoring backend applications.
Bonus points for exposure to platform engineering and dev tools.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
Familiarity with observability stacks.
Prior work in B2B SaaS or AI-enabled product environments.
