Overview

As a Renewal Account Communications Expert, you will play a vital role in supporting the Renewal team by preparing, coordinating, and executing requests for customer calls. You will ensure that all relevant details are gathered in advance of the call to ensure the interaction progresses smoothly. This role requires advanced interpersonal and organizational skills as well as highly effective communication and negotiation skills.

In Short

  • Receive and execute requests for customer calls submitted by Renewal Opportunity Owners.
  • Collaborate with Renewal Representatives to ensure quotes align with pricing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotes and renewal activities in the CRM.
  • Refer expansion opportunities to the Sales team.
  • Research Instructure products for upsell conversations during negotiations.
  • Provide end-of-quarter support by reviewing renewal agreements with customers.
  • Cover teammates' books of business during their absence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in negotiating contracts and pricing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking to assess data and contracts.
  • Proven collaboration skills with internal teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with initiative and efficiency.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Familiarity with CPQ tools is a plus.
