Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting - Remote

Overview

InStride is looking for a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to scale our revenue and billing functions while driving automation and process efficiency. In this role, you’ll collaborate across teams to implement process improvements and revenue technology transformation initiatives that enhance financial operations.

In Short

• Manage complex revenue accounting processes and transactions.
• Lead revenue technology transformation initiatives.
• Scale and automate revenue and billing functions.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP ASC 606 and SOX.
• Develop and manage revenue note disclosures for audited financial statements.
• Support tax apportionment calculations for partnership tax returns.
• Oversee financial systems including NetSuite and Chargebee.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team.
• Provide strategic insights through ad hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system implementations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in revenue accounting.
• Deep understanding of ASC 606 and US GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving acumen.
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel and Google Drive.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS or tech industry.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and integrity.
• 3-5 years of people management experience.
