Revenue Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Revenue Accounting Manager is responsible for the full cycle of global revenue and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) accounting (ASC 606), including performing all revenue processes and approvals, reporting requirements, revenue technical memos, and audit support for both international and US entities.

In Short

• Prepare billing validations and run revenue recognition for the month-end close.
• Review all customer accounts receivable (AR subledger accounts).
• Perform SSP analysis and create processes to maintain SSP analysis.
• Provide revenue accounting guidance on highly visible transactions.
• Resolve sales tax issues and communicate with State Sales Tax Department.
• Manage staff accountant who approves opportunities and quotes through SFDC.
• Participate in annual financial audit activities of external auditors.
• Lead Sales tax audits and Tax Provisions.
• Analyze and record stock-based compensation expenses.
• Take the lead on special projects as delegated by upper management.

Requirements

• Ability to partner and collaborate with various teams.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP accounting principles.
• Expertise with accounting systems such as MS Excel, Salesforce, and NetSuite.
• Ability to perform accounts analysis and reconciliation.
• Independently handle all revenue, COGS, and AR subledger review.
• Understanding of foreign exchange currency and translation.
