Overview

We're seeking a Thermofluids - Advanced Engineer at INNIO Poland to collaborate with Design, Production, and Application Engineering teams, based in INNIO's Warsaw office. The role involves using 1D Hydraulic and Thermodynamic simulations and CFD models to support product development and provide design guidance. The engineer will construct 1D and 3D system circuit models for gas engine lubrication, cooling, and ventilation systems, correlate model results with test data, and enhance design predictability to expedite Time to Market.

In Short

  • Familiar with design requirements of reciprocating engine critical components.
  • Constructing accurate 1D hydraulic and 3D CFD models.
  • Ability to interpret results to quantify hardware impacts.
  • Support FEA and CFD team with required inputs.
  • Define simulation project requirements and timelines.
  • Develop domain expertise and share knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong desire to learn and solve technical issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in hydraulic-thermofluid and CFD modeling.
  • Strong interpersonal relationships with customers.
  • Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Commitment to safety and customer service quality.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
  • Using GT-Suite/GT-Power and CFD using ANSYS CFX is a plus.
