Director of Business Operations - Remote

Overview

The Director of Business Operations leads and directs the activities of the IMS world-class business operations team to provide strategies and solutions that help our clients win. They lead and initiate projects to improve the capability of the services teams through innovation, strategy development, forward-looking thought leadership, and business transformation.

In Short

• Lead and manage multiple teams, including Resource Management, Quality Assurance, Practice Operations, and Client Value teams.
• Develop and deliver innovative strategies and tools for clients.
• Communicate with Senior Leadership to analyze opportunities and risks.
• Ensure world-class services through quality control and resource management.
• Coordinate with Finance and Accounting for accurate invoicing and reporting.
• Work with Technology Team to ensure technical solutions are state-of-the-art.
• Drive change and engage stakeholders across the organization.
• Manage complex cross-enterprise projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Support Business Directors with special projects impacting revenue.
• Utilize mentoring and coaching to inspire team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of professional services experience.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in client management and relationship building.
• Ability to navigate and decipher an ambiguous environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.
