Overview

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and strategically developing key accounts, working closely with clients to understand their business models and support their successful use of Impower's services.

In Short

  • Manage and strategically develop key accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusting client relationships.
  • Engage with C-Level stakeholders and translate complex requirements into solutions.
  • Identify and implement upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and manage customer expansions.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and reduce churn risks.
  • Conduct presentations, product demos, and workshops.
  • Analyze customer requirements, market trends, and competitive developments.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Sales teams.
  • Monitor relevant KPIs and report on sales and business developments.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in Key Account Management or consultative B2B sales.
  • Experience with complex customer structures and decision processes, ideally in SaaS or real estate.
  • Able to understand business models and translate customer needs into solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills at various hierarchy levels, including C-Level.
  • Structured working style, prioritization skills, and high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Strong focus on long-term customer development and Customer Lifetime Value.
  • Fluent in German (native) and proficient in English.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive) and modern collaboration tools.
