Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at impact.com, you will focus on delivering epics for the squad through planning, designing, implementing, testing, and deploying software solutions. You will work independently and assist team members while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

In Short

Collaborate with a distributed team to fulfill quarterly objectives
Develop code independently and through pair programming
Write and maintain design, user, and test documentation
Perform triage functionality through verification and fixing of bugs
Support software testing and quality assurance processes
Mentor and provide guidance to less senior staff
Influence system-wide architecture
Research and prototype new technologies
Maintain build and stage stability
Actively contribute to and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in Software Development
Experience with Java, Spring, SQL, and related technologies
Agile / Iterative processes knowledge
TDD experience
Continuous Integration / Delivery methods knowledge
Experience in monitoring and production support
Good understanding of JVM and Garbage Collection
Experience mentoring or training teams
Opensource contributions are beneficial
