Manager, Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider - Remote

Overview

The Manager of Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will oversee the management of Acute Care APPs in a pediatric medical group that enhances care for children with special health care needs.

• Supervise clinical APPs in collaboration with physicians and leadership.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support APP professional growth.
• Create objectives based on organizational goals.
• Ensure timely documentation of administrative responsibilities.
• Coordinate recruitment and training processes for APPs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary workgroups.
• Maintain communication across service lines.
• Provide virtual acute care services to members.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 7+ years as a Pediatric PA or NP in acute care.
• 3+ years leading a team of APPs.
• Experience with medically complex pediatrics.
• Ambulatory pediatric practice experience desired.
• Tele-health experience is a plus.
• Active TX, FL, LA, MO, NC, or GA licensure required.
• Active DEA registration or eligible for application.
• Stable internet connection and ability to troubleshoot tech issues.
