Overview

As a Director, Government Affairs at Imagine Pediatrics, you will advance our mission by leading the continued development of our Government Affairs and Relations function, expanding our advocacy presence across key market states and at the federal level.

In Short

• Lead the development of a proactive government affairs strategy aligned with company goals.
• Work alongside the Government Affairs Associate to identify emerging policy risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate to create regulatory interpretations and advocacy positioning.
• Assist in strategic planning efforts alongside the Chief Innovation and Administrative Officer.
• Represent Imagine Pediatrics in the Coalition of Healthcare Innovation.
• Prepare quarterly briefings for executive leadership summarizing major developments.
• Ensure the Government Affairs team is a source of subject-matter expertise for internal teams.
• Advocate for legislation and policies that further Imagine Pediatrics’ mission.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7-14 years in a professional environment; experience in government affairs and healthcare policy.
• Demonstrated experience in federal or state advocacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience managing consultants or lobbyists.
• Strong understanding of CMS and state Medicaid agencies.
• Experience collaborating with legal counsel on policy interpretation.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment.
