Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are looking for our next Data Analyst to join our team and collaborate with an important client in making data-driven decisions through analysis, low-complexity Machine Learning model prototyping, and participation in experimentation, working closely with the product development team.

In Short

• Analyze partner/product data (cohorts, segmentation, lifecycle metrics) and propose actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with data engineers in preparing datasets for analytical purposes and building features for Machine Learning models using primarily SQL and Python, ensuring proper documentation and quality control.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and prototype simple supervised models (e.g., propensity, basic classification), evaluating their performance.
• Support hypothesis formulation, experiment design and analysis (A/B, hypothesis testing) and measure impact on business metrics.
• Assist in building visualizations/dashboards for KPI tracking (engagement, earn/burn, retention) and communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
• Drive data upskilling programs across different roles in the squad, adopting a data-driven decision-making culture.
• Utilize AI tools (copilots/LLMs) to enhance productivity in exploration, documentation, and code/query generation.
• Be a member of an autonomous and multidisciplinary squad in the digital transformation of the loyalty program.
• Actively participate in the squad, planning and executing discovery and delivery activities alongside the team triad (Product Manager, Designer, Engineer Manager), providing visibility into task progress in daily meetings.

Requirements

• Python for data science (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Advanced SQL and data modeling knowledge; GCP/BigQuery.
• Descriptive/inferential statistics, hypothesis testing; fundamentals of experimentation.
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning (supervised/unsupervised learning, split, regularization, tuning).
• Preparation of executive-level presentations, clear communication with stakeholders.
• Git for versioning; good documentation practices.
• Knowledge and handling of low-complexity models (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, time series, etc.).
• If in addition to the above, you have experience in commercial areas, loyalty, CRM, or digital product development, we have the winning candidate.
