Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

The Data Scientist will support eLoyalty teams in data-driven decision-making by delivering analytical insights, prototyping simple machine learning models, and contributing to experimentation initiatives.

In Short

• Analyze data from partners and products to translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to prepare analytical datasets and build features for ML models using SQL and Python.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and prototype supervised learning models.
• Support hypothesis formulation, experimental design, and analysis (A/B testing).
• Contribute to the development of dashboards and visualizations for monitoring KPIs.
• Promote data upskilling initiatives within the team.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity in data exploration and documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and workflows, planning and executing discovery and delivery activities.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python for data science (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Advanced SQL knowledge and data modeling; experience with GCP/BigQuery is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Ability to prepare executive-level presentations and communicate analytical results clearly.
