Contracts Manager - Remote

Overview

The GE Aerospace’s Contracts team is a critical team member, and a trusted and proactive business partner to the product lines within the business. The Contracts Manager will provide proactive contract management support on assigned programs from capture to execution and close out, ensuring both GE Aerospace and the customers’ expectations are met.

In Short

• Act as primary interface between GE Aerospace and customers on all contractual matters.
• Provide contract administration for assigned proposals and contracts.
• Lead negotiations and contract interpretation.
• Interface with multiple departments including Manufacturing, Program Management, and Legal.
• Present risk mitigation strategies to Senior Leadership.
• Assume team leader responsibilities for assigned programs.
• Embrace Lean and digital tools for continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel periodically.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for flawless execution.
• Develop creative solutions to complex business problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma with relevant experience.
• At least five years of experience in government, commercial, or international contract formation.
• Solid domain expertise in Parts 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and 15 Contracting by Negotiation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience building strong relationships with customers.
• Knowledge of contract law and formation.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proactively identify and resolve contractual issues.
• Subcontracts experience is a plus.
