Overview

The Sr Supplier Recovery Specialist at Unison, a GE Aerospace company, is responsible for driving supplier performance improvements and building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery of products.

In Short

• Lead continuous improvement activities with suppliers.
• Identify root causes of supplier underperformance.

• Travel 50%+ to supplier locations.

• Develop and maintain supplier relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 9 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing roles.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver results.
• Experience with project management and strategic initiatives.
• Understanding of sourcing processes and compliance.
• Leadership experience in lean and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to deal with difficult suppliers.
• Knowledge of machining and fabrication methods.
• Familiarity with shop floor control and lean concepts.
