Overview

The Director of Engineering plays a leading strategic role in IDIQ’s digital platform strategy across the enterprise, driving the design, development, testing, deployment, and operations of the IDIQ platform ecosystem.

In Short

• Partner with Product Management to drive end-to-end product delivery processes.
• Oversee front-end and back-end development teams and their projects.
• Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems.
• Ensure overall company compliance with security regulations.
• Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines.
• Design strategies for future development projects.
• Hire engineers and coordinate their training.
• Be highly engaged with development teams, championing design patterns.
• Implement innovative technologies.
• Create processes and standards for systems support.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT operations and supervising technology teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of security, network, and systems administration.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
• Hands-on experience in software development.
• Knowledge of project management principles.
• Familiarity with React and .NET Core/Framework.
