Senior Database Administrator (PostgresDB, BigQuery) with GCP - Remote

Overview

The Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for administering, managing, securing, and tuning database servers, with a focus on PostgresDB and BigQuery on GCP.

In Short

• Full-time position with a focus on database administration.
• Minimum of 12 years of IT experience required.
• 10 years of experience in managing MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Postgres databases.
• 3 years of experience with cloud platforms like CloudSQL/GCP or RDS/AWS.

• Experience in database performance monitoring and tuning.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database schemas.
• Experience with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS is a plus.
• Work in a hybrid model from Chennai.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science.
• Strong knowledge of database design and SQL best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database integrity and performance issues.
• Experience with database security policies and user access control.
• Good understanding of index management and optimization.
