Director of Engineering - Remote

Overview

DomainTools is seeking an experienced leader to direct several of our DevOps delivery teams. This position will manage engineers and other managers responsible for designing, building, deploying, operating and maintaining our production systems.

In Short

• Orchestrate your organization and manage through other managers.
• Lead a team of engineers directly, providing leadership and mentoring.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent for your teams.
• Collaborate across teams to understand requirements and propose improvements.
• Define, implement and continually improve processes.
• Estimate project requirements, timelines, capacity, and costs.
• On-call participation with your team of 24/7 operations engineers.

Requirements

• Experience in a leadership role within DevOps environments.
• Strong understanding of AWS and hybrid environments.
• Ability to manage and mentor engineering teams effectively.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Excellent collaboration skills across various teams.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
